✨ Every word I share here is a seed for your healing journey. I only recommend books and resources I truly trust to nourish your soul. Let’s dive in.
When you think back on your childhood, your old jobs, or your past relationships —
what’s the first thing you remember?
Is it the sunny weather?
The feel of warm grass under your feet?
The way a stranger once smiled at you in a grocery store?
Probably not.
More often, the first memories that surface are the painful ones — the trauma, the criticism, the moments that cut deep.
Pain leaves an imprint. It’s raw. It’s relatable. It's easy to recall.
But why is it so easy to hold onto the storms, and so easy to forget the sunshine?
Some days it feels like life itself has shifted — like the weather is hotter, harsher, stranger than we remember.
(And let’s be honest — sometimes we half-joke that NASA is playing with the clouds because it’s never been this damn hot.)
But the truth is:
Life has always been a mix of extremes.
There were moments of kindness too.
The puppy that loved you unconditionally.
The stranger who held the door open without a second thought.
The wish you once whispered into the universe — that somehow, quietly, came true.
We just don't always talk about those.
We’re conditioned to share pain because pain is what connects easily.
But when we only focus on the scars, we start to tell ourselves a story:
"Maybe life has just been bad."
And that story isn’t the full truth.
No, this isn’t about minimizing trauma.
Some wounds are real, deep, and deserve space to heal.
But healing isn’t about digging endlessly for everything that ever hurt us.
Healing is about choosing — choosing to notice the moments that remind us life is still beautiful, messy, hilarious, and filled with second chances.
You loved someone once.
It didn’t work out.
Maybe you chose based on looks instead of knowing yourself fully.
Maybe you rushed into the fire thinking it was warmth.
Trial and error is part of life.
The goal isn’t to never make mistakes — it’s to collect wisdom along the way.
Sometimes you have to bump your head.
Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom to finally feel the ground solid under your feet.
Wisdom isn't linear.
So why do we expect healing to be?
Healing comes in waves.
In breakdowns.
In quiet mornings you didn't even realize were breakthroughs.
In the way you laugh again without realizing your guard dropped.
Everything is happening for you — if you allow it.
Trust the ups.
Trust the downs.
Trust the messy middle.
Your healing won’t be a straight road.
It’ll be a rollercoaster — and you are strong enough to ride it all the way home.
